WIN A BAA-BLE HAT

A Baa-ble hat designed for this years Shetland Wool Week by Donna Smith, knitted in my handspun yarn, in a mix of natural Shetland colours, as well as natural and chemical dyed yarns.

Decide for yourself what the scene in the hat is – I see - sheep on the foreshore on a winter night with the Merrie Dancers in the sky above!

You dont have to be in Shetland to win, send an email, or a PM on facebook, with your name and address and I will add to the draw.

The winner will be drawn at Makers market on Saturday 3rd October.

  1. I've favorited this pattern, but your version is far prettier than any others I've seen. Would love to win it! (I have Shetland sheep; do I get bonus entries? ;-)

  3. It is a blustery day in Shetland and the sheep came down from the hill near the beach. They are calling me to come baaah-ck to Shetland! Last year, on my visit to Shetland, I lost my favorite handspun hat. I like to believe that perhaps a sheep, puffin, pony or seal found it and one if the dear critters wears it at a jaunty angle to this day.

  7. I saw and handled this lovely hat when I visited your workshop in Shetland in August! It is beautiful and soft as well. I love the handspun yarn I bought from you.

  8. Thanks for the comments, sorry none of you won. The winner, Lynette, was in Shetland for Wool Week. I will look out for something wearing your hat Deborah. Ellen, Cailean might not recognise you if you covered up all that beautiful hair. Enjoy knitting with your yarn Koko.
